Job Description

Purpose

Responsible for set-up and assembly of all types of equipment offered for sale by the dealership.

Preforms pre-delivery inspections and prepares equipment for delivery to the customer. May require some direction of guidance from Service Manager, Service Location Manager or Shop Foreman.

General: This position requires mechanical knowledge and experience. Farm, Construction or Turf equipment.

Responsibilities

• Accurate pre-delivery, assembly and set-up of tractors, implements, skid steers, track loaders, excavators and attachments.
• See that all units after the above operate and function as they should.
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.
• Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repair performed on work orders and on time submittal of information.
• May participate in service education training programs required to perform job responsibilities.
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Other task assigned by Management.

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge

• Experience operating vehicles, tools and equipment used in machinery per-delivery and set-up processes.
• Experience with basic computer functions.
• Experience working cooperatively in a team environment.
• Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
